Françoise Marquet-Zao offers to the musée Cernuschi her husband's collection of Chinese works of art, including a dozen ancient bronzes, ceramics and jades, and also works by his friend, the painter Walasse Ting.

The donation also includes one early and four recent ceramics by Zao Wou-Ki, in order to complete the collection of decorative arts and design of the musée Cernuschi.

To enhance the long-standing ties between Zao Wou-Ki and the museum – the musée Cernuschi has been the first French Museum to exhibit Zao Wou-Ki's work as early as 1946 – and in memory of its former director Vadime Elisseeff, eighteen works on paper from 1947 to 2005 are also offered, thus making the collection of the musée Cernuschi one of the richest in the world.
