The Colby College Museum of Art at Waterville, Co-organisator with Asia Society Museum in New York of the exhibition “No Limits: Zao Wou-Ki”, organizes the second stop of this important museum retrospective of Zao Wou-Ki’s work in the States for many years. It will show the dissemination of his work in the United States, his collaboration with several galleries in New York – the Patti Birch Gallery in the 50’s, the Kootz Gallery in the 60’s, the Pierre Matisse Gallery in the 80’s and the Marlborough Gallery after 2000 – together with his strong presence in public and private American collections.
