Exhibition ‘ZAO WOU-KI’ at the Pierre Gianadda Foundation in Martigny (Switzerland)

In collaboration with the Zao Wou-Ki Foundation, the Pierre Gianadda Foundation presents the first important retrospective of the artist in Switzerland. Covering all the artist’s periods, this exhibition presents a group of monumental paintings, among them several large triptychs, accompanied by many works on paper. It enhances the ease of style of the artist in large compositions such as the Hommage à Varèse dated 1964, which recently became part of the collections of Lausanne Cantonal museum, the Hommage à May dated 1972, borrowed from the Centre Pompidou or also the Temple des Hans dated 2005.

The exhibition which opened in the presence of Léonard Gianadda, Françoise Marquet-Zao and Dominique de Villepin will end on June 12th 2016.
